Richard Sheridan Obituary
Richard Sheridan, 83, a longtime resident of Ossining passed away on February 6, 2012.
Richard was born in Queens, NY in 1928, raised in Bronx, NY and was a resident of Ossining for more than 50 years.
He served in the Marine Corps during WWII. After leaving the service he began his career as a technical illustrator then graphic designer for Shell Oil. He then went on to spend a career spanning 30 years working as a Senior Communications Specialist at the Thomas J. Watson Research Center at IBM.
For 27 years Richard and his wife, Sherri, owned and operated Sheridan Associates/The Slide Center, a graphic art studio on Main Street, in the Village of Ossining.
He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Sarah M. Sheridan and their children: daughters Maureen Sheridan of Wassaic, NY; Diane Perrin and husband Mark of Fort Myers, FL; his son Brian Sheridan and wife Patrice, and grandson Aiden Sheridan of Ossining, NY.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday at 10 am at St Ann's Church, 25 Eastern Avenue, Ossining, NY 10562. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park, 101 Mill St., Putnam Valley, NY 10579.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Suite 306, 2900 Westchester Ave., Purchase, NY 10577 would be appreciated.

Condolences to the Sheridan family,
Brother Sheridan and i spent many days talking politics at his office. Once he retired i missed that give and take we had when i was working at Con Ed enjoying those many breaks i took talking with him.
He will be truly missed
