ROBERT L. MELICAN

Robert L. Melican, a resident of Pound Ridge, NY for 26 years, died on October 4, 2004 at his home at the age of 64. Mr. Melican was born January 14, 1940 in Albany, NY to Leo and Gertrude Melican. Mr. Melican graduated from Fairfield University with a B.S. Degree in History and Economics and a Ph.D Degree in Public Administration from New York University and then went on to work as a Managing Director of T.L. Lotteries, Barbados, West Indies for 16 years. Mr. Melican was a parishioner of St. Patrick's Church in Bedford, NY. He is survived by his wife Eileen K. Melican of Pound Ridge, NY, two sons Robert L. and John W. Melican both of Manhattan, NY and one granddaughter Abigail E. Melican also of Manhattan, NY. Robert was predeceased by one grandson Jack Melican in 2003. Calling hours will be at Clark Associates Funeral Home, Katonah, NY on Friday, October 8, 2004 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held at St. Patrick's Church, Bedford, NY on Saturday, October 9 at 10 AM. Interment will be at Pound Ridge Cemetery, Pound Ridge, NY.
