Robert Roman Obituary
Robert "Bobby" Roman, 53, of Nyack, NY died June 15, 2014. Born in the Bronx, NY on August 8, 1961 to the late Robert and Helena (Crawford) Roman, Robert was a long time resident of Pearl River, NY.
Bobby graduated from Albertus Magnus High School in 1979, and Dominican College in 1984. While at Dominican College Bobby enjoyed singing and acting in musical productions where he often had the lead role. He worked at Grand Union in Montvale, NJ as a front end manager for over 25 years.
Bobby is survived by his loving sisters and brothers, Helena, Virginia, Christopher, Douglas (Cecelia) and Neil, adoring nieces and nephews, Doug and Kaitlin Roman and Kelly Casey, and one great-nephew, Ethan, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Bobby will be remembered for his incredible ability to recall facts, his celebrity impersonations, an amazing singing voice and his hysterical sense of humor.
Visiting is Thursday from 2-4pm and 7-9 pm at Assumma-Shankey Funeral Home. Funeral Mass, Friday, 10am at St. Margaret's Church in Pearl River, NY.

I worked with Bob at Grand Union in Montvale back in the 70's when he first joined the company as a sixteen year old cashier trainee. He was affectionately known as "Mini Bob" due to his youth and the fact he was so much younger than the Bob that had been working there for years. He was a nice kid and liked by all.

Bobby did have a great sense if humor and personality. I had the privilege of working with Bob in Montvale . Many great memories, rest in peace my friend.
