AGE: 91 • Bronx
Sr. Rose Maureen Dormer, SC (Margaret Rose) (1925-2016) died at De Paul Residence in Kittay House on May 10, 2016. She entered the Sisters of Charity of New York on Sept. 8, 1945
Sr. Rose Maureen ministered at St. Agnes, Manhattan; St. Barnabas Elementary and High School, Bronx; St. Peter, Poughkeepsie; St. Mary Star of the Sea, Brooklyn; St. John, White Plains; Our Lady of Mercy, Port Chester; St. Mary and St. Joseph, Yonkers; Trinity HS, Shiremanstown, PA.
She is survived by her brother Kyran ,his wife Lois, several nieces and nephews and the Sisters of Charity with whom she has shared life for 71 years.
Wake: Convent of Mount Saint Vincent, 6301 Riverdale Ave., Bronx, NY, Friday, May 13, 2016 from 2PM to 6:30 PM.
Mass: Convent of Mount Saint Vincent, Saturday, May 14, 2016 at 10 AM.
Burial: St Joseph Cemetery, Yonkers.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sisters of Charity of New York.

The Manhattan College alumni community shares the grief, and is now praying for our fellow alumni and the family at this time. The Alumni Office has been informed. As well as the Jasper Jottings community that I personally can reach. We are all a little poorer now. "No man is an island, entire of itself ... any mans death diminishes me". We are sorry for your loss.
