Rose F. Lombardo

Ardsley - Rose F. Lombardo, 97 of Ardsley passed away on May 3, 2018. She was born October 26, 1920 in Brooklyn, NY to the late Dominick Fazzolare and Catherine Panetta Fazzolare. On December 9, 1945 she married John J. Lombardo, her devoted husband of 66 years, who predeceased her in 2012. Locally she was very active in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, was Past President of the Dobbs Ferry Women's Club as well as Past Treasurer of the Ardsley Garden Club. Prior to starting a family, she was head bookkeeper at Research Institute of America in New York City.

She is survived by her loving children, Susan Lombardo, Andrea Consiglio (John), Paul Lombardo (Joan) as well as her cherished grandchildren, Joseph Lombardo, Matthew Lombardo, Michael Lombardo and Alisa Lombardo. Besides her parents and husband she was predeceased by her siblings Peter Fazzolare, Vincent Fazzolare and Mary Moshy.

In Lieu of flowers donations to Ardsley Garden Club or Dobbs Ferry Women's Club.

Visiting will be held at Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home, Monday 5/7 4PM-8PM. Funeral Mass Tuesday 5/8 at 10am Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church-Ardsley. Interment to follow Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
