Ruth Pugliese Obituary
Keene, NH - Ruth M (Aiken) Pugliese, 97, of Bentley Commons passed away Thursday, July 5, 2018 at Cheshire Medical Center. Ruth was born in Saxtons River, VT on May 23, 1921, the daughter of Dana and Flora (Reindeau) Aiken and she was a graduate of Walpole High School. She worked at Jack's Fabrics and owned a television store in Port Chester, NY. She was also part of the Music Union in White Plains, NY.
Ruth is survived by those who assisted with her care, her nieces Rosanne Albanese, and Carol Lalli & husband Al; her great nieces Jean Bergen & husband Dave and Janet Bergquist; and her great-nephew James Narkiewicz; special adoptive nephew Bill Patenaude, Jr.; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is predeceased by her husband Peter Pugliese, her parents, her brothers Maynard, Ralph, Charles (Artie), and Lewis Aiken and her sister Myrtie Narkiewicz.
Ruth's family would like to thank the staff of Langdon Place, Bentley Commons, Cheshire Medical Center, and Dr. James Potter and his staff for the special care given to Ruth over the past three years.
A funeral mass will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 10th at St. Charles Church, 31 Cherry Hill, Bellows Falls, VT 05101. Friends and family are invited to a gathering after the mass at the Parish Hall. Burial will take place in Port Chester, NY at a later date. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are in the care of Fenton & Hennessey Funeral Home.
