Tecumseh Brayboy Obituary

Tecumseh Bryan Brayboy, III WARRENTON - Rev, Tecumseh Bryan Brayboy, III "Tee", departed his life on December 9, 2009 in his Warrenton, NC home where he lived with his wife, Barbara, of 43 years. Tee, a diabetic, had been in failing health for several years, having undergone open heart surgery and kidney transplant in recent years. The funeral will be held on Sunday, December 13, 2009, 2:00 p.m. at Walnut Grove Baptist Church in Warrenton, NC (Arcola Community). Visitation will be on Saturday, December 12, 2009 from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Walnut Grove Baptist Church. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Blaylock Funeral Home of Littleton, NC. He is survived by his widow, Barbara Lynch Brayboy of the home; Three daughters; Natalie Brayboy of Warrenton, NC; Jennifer Locklear (Eric) of Roxboro, NC; Heather Hedgepeth (Johnathan) of Pickerington, OH; Four grandchildren: Elan, Lydia, Andrew and Mary-Riley. His 94-year old mother, Eva Harris Brayboy of Pembroke, NC; his sisters: Elaine Brayboy Haraway of Chevy Chase, Maryland; Barbara Braveboy Locklear of Ocean Isle Beach, NC; his brothers: Bobby Dean Brayboy and wife (Cathy), of Lumberton, NC; Isaac Timothy Brayboy (Byrtis), of Cary, NC; Larry Ray Brayboy (Beatrice), of Laurinburg, NC, four grandchildren, and his church family. His father, Tecumseh Bryan Brayboy, Jr. and his sisters, Evelyn Brayboy Grogg and Helen Brayboy Sampson preceded him in death.
