Theodore Farrison Obituary
Theodore "Ted" Fredrick Farrison, Jr. of Hillburn, NY passed away quietly in his sleep on April 10, 2017 after a short illness. Ted was born on June 29, 1925 to Freddy (Fieros) and Florence (DeFreese) Farrison. He married Ellen VanDunk, the love of his life, on May 8, 1953.
Ted is lovingly survived by his children: Todd (Barbara), David (Deborah), Kendall Farrison-Charles, Eric and Brandon (Tammy). He is also survived by his grandchildren: Kelly, Khyl, Bernard (Bud), Lauren, Whitney, Katie, Riley, Jerren and Deven and great-grandchildren, Braelyn, Dakota, Logan and Presley. Ted also leaves behind his sister, Marjorie Brock of Atlanta, GA. Ted is predeceased by his siblings: George, Patricia, James and William.
Ted will be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, an amazing Dad, a wonderful grandfather and great-grandfather.
The family will receive family and friends on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the at Scarr Funeral Home Inc. 160 Orange Avenue, Suffern, NY. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 AM at the funeral home He will be laid to rest next to his wife at Airmont Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be sent to Hillburn Community Scholarship Fund, PO Box 705, Hillburn, NY.
