Thomas Eyler Obituary
AGE: 53 • Yonkers
Thomas J. Eyler, 53, passed away on April 30, 2017 after a long illness at Lawrence Hospital.
Tom was a salesman at Endico Potatoes Inc., Mt. Vernon, NY.
Tom is survived by his son, Erik Eyler, his sister, Virginia (& Daniel) Sheahan, his brother, Robert (& JoAnn) Eyler, his cousins, Mary Ellen (& Grant) Mitchell and William Crossan, his nieces and nephews, Amanda Smith, Steven Eyler, Michael Mitchell and Alexanda Mitchell, and great-niece, Jessica Smith.
He was predeceased by parents, Robert F. Eyler and Virginia O'Hara Eyler.
Tom was a lifelong resident of Yonkers and received his Bachelors and Masters degrees at Manhattan College.
The family will receive friends at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home, 168 Park Avenue, Yonkers, NY, on Wednesday, May 3rd, from 5pm-7:30 pm

Tom was a great person loved by so many people. He was very intelligent, had an incredible sense of humor and such a strong personality. I will always remember him fondly. He was one of those rare people who seemed to know everyone and get along with everyone. Rest in peace my friend.

The Manhattan College alumni community shares the grief, and is now praying for our fellow alumni and the family at this time. The Alumni Office has been informed. As well as the Jasper Jottings community that I personally can reach. We are all a little poorer now. "No man is an island, entire of itself ... any mans death diminishes me".
