Thomas Mullen Obituary
Thomas "Moon" Mullen of Nanuet, NY passed away surrounded by his family, after a fierce battle with cancer on Friday, August 18, 2017. He was 57.
Thomas worked as a private investigator for JT Mullen Company, in Manhattan, NY. He was a fearless private investigator, no case was too difficult for him. He worked as his father's right hand man, breaking open most of the high profile celebrity/political cases. He was recognized as JT Mullen's premiere surveillance investigator for 35 years.
Thomas was born February 11, 1960 in Bronx, NY to Joseph and Barbara Mullen.
He was a 1979 graduate of Pearl River High School.
Thomas loved spending time with his sons, Thomas and Michael, and his nieces and nephews. He enjoyed going on his friends boat with a nice cigar, playing cards and his coffee (Dunkin). Thomas will also be remembered for his love and compassion, his ability to make anyone laugh and maintained friendships for life.
He is survived by his devoted wife and best friend, Kathy; sons, the light of his life, Michael and Thomas, they were the reason he fought so hard. The manner he fought cancer has earned him the nickname to those who knew him as "SUPERMAN". He also leaves behind his father, Joseph and step-mother, Suzanne; brothers and sisters, Bonnie Wolfe of Nanuet, Joseph of Ridgewood, NJ, Michael of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Pamela Vinci of Pearl River; nieces and nephews, Joseph, Margaret, Patrick, Bridget and Bobby Mullen; Jenna, Michael, Sarah and Katelyn Vinci; Liz, Tim and Kelly Wolfe and grand-nephew, Luke. He is predeceased by his mother Barbara Ann Mullen (March 31, 2011).
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10:00 AM Wednesday at St. Aedan R.C. Church, Pearl River. Visiting is Tuesday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM at Wyman-Fisher Funeral Home Inc.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be sent to United Hospice of Rockland.

Dear Joe,
I'm not sure if you will get this but I'm sending it anyway. So sorry to find out that Tommy has passed. It has been years since we spoke but I still look back upon my time at JT Mullen as some of the best years of my life. I had some great times with Tom, he will surely be missed. My love to you and your family.

Thomas was a classmate of mine from Pearl River, he was always friendly & outgoing , it has been years since I saw him but I want to express my deepest sympathy. I can only imagine the fight he put up. I was looking for my Dad's guest book, he passed just recently and I saw Tommy's name. I will keep you in my prayers. Peace to all of you,
