THOMAS S. TREE

Thomas S. Tree, age 87, and a resident of Bronxville for over 35 years, died on July 26, 2001 after a long illness. Tom was born and raised in Philadelphia and received a degree in mechanical engineering from Drexel University. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in England and France during World War II and attained the rank of 1st Lieutenant. Following the war, Tom began his career as an engineer with Chrysler Motors, and was affiliated with them for more than 50 years. Tom's loving wife Jean predeceased him in 1982 and Tom is survived by one sister Florence Fingerman of Los Angeles, and by many close and adoring friends. Tom was an avid golfer and was a member of Siwanoy Country Club in Bronxville since 1968. A memorial service will be held on August 11th at 1 pm at Saint Philip in the Fields Church in Oreland, PA. It is requested that any donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
