Tracy Dunne Obituary
Tracy Dunne of Pleasantville, NY passed away at the age of 95 on Tuesday January 31. She passed away peacefully in her home after a long and happy life. Tracy loved the beach, faithfully did her crossword puzzle every morning, and was always happiest surrounded by her loving family. For all of her 95 year years Tracy always had a smile on her face.
Tracy was born on December 23 1921 in Capaldo, Kansas, and moved to New York at a young age. She lived in White Plains, NY for many years, where she met and married her husband John P. Dunne. They raised their family in Valhalla. Tracy then moved to Pleasantville where she spent the later part of her life. She is predeceased by her husband John and her daughter Judy Losik. She is survived by her daughter Janet Dunne and husband Ron Bolmer of Newtown Ct, her son and daughter-in-law Thomas and Janice Dunne of Hawthorne, NY, and her son-in-law Jerry Losik of Novato CA. Tracy was Grandma and Nana to 6 loving grandchildren, Matt, Melissa, Ali, Kaitlin, Meghan, and Jillian, and 7 great grandchildren, Emma, Camryn, Avery, Brynn, Darwin, Malcom, and Aiden. She adored her grandchildren and was especially blessed by all of her great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday (Today) 4-8pm at Beecher Flooks Funeral Home, Inc., Pleasantville, NY. Mass of Christian burial will be Friday 10am at Our Lady of Pompeii Church, Pleasantville, NY. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Holy Innocence Recreation Program.
