NORMA GOODMAN

Norma Goodman, 78, of New Hartford and formerly of Chestnut Ridge, passed away Saturday, August 26, 2006 at the St. Luke's Home, New Hartford. She was born November 6, 1927, in Brooklyn, the daughter of the late Joseph and Sarah Eisenberg Cohen. Norma was a graduate of Brooklyn schools and Brooklyn College. On December 25, 1948, she married Joseph Goodman in St. Paul, MN. Dr. and Mrs. Goodman were residents of Chestnut Ridge, NY for over forty years. Norma was employed with Hertz Employment Agencies, Nanuet, NY. She was a member of Beth Am Temple, Pearl River and Hadassah. She is survived by her husband of fifty-seven years, Joseph; her daughters and son-in-law, Sara Goodman of Austin, TX and Phyllis and Michael Le Blanc pf Seattle, WA; her son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Daniel and Carol Goodman of New Hartford; her grandchildren, Alan Goodman, Joanna Goodman, Martha Goodman, Emily Goodman, Matthew Goodman, Benjamin Lively, Elizabeth Lively, Hannah Le Blanc and Samuel Le Blanc; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Sidney Cohen and Mortimer Cohen. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, August 30, 2006 at 2 pm at Beth Am Temple, Pearl River, NY.
