VINCENT VIAFORE Obituary

Vincent Thomas Viafore, 62, of Neptune City, NJ, passed away on July 6, 2004 at Atlantic City Medical Center in NJ. He was a tenyear resident of Neptune City, previously residing in Wappingers Falls and Yonkers. Mr. Viafore was born on December 19, 1941 to father Alexander Viafore and mother Sophie Civic. He graduated from Yonkers High School in 1959. Mr. Viafore served in the United States Army from 1959-1962. He worked as a Construction Engineer for the State of New York for 22 years until his retirement in 1999. He was of the Roman Catholic Faith and former member of St. Columba Parish in Hopewell Junction. He was an avid fisherman. Survivors include daughter; Laura Rice and her husband Kevin of Poughkeepsie, son; Vincent A. Viafore and his wife Suzanne of Poughkeepsie, companion; Connie Benson of Staten Island, sisters; Camille Dennett of Lakeville, CT; Patricia Mazzola of Hawthorne; Valerie Viafore of Southbury, CT, brothers; Alexander Viafore of Eastchester; Kenneth Viafore of Duxbury, MA; Ronald Viafore of Kent, CT; former wife and friend, Mary Ann Viafore of Poughkeepsie; grandchildren Michael T. Rice and Melissa C. Rice of Poughkeepsie and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours were held at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction, NY. Interment of Cremains will take place at a later date in Holy Mount Cemetery, Eastchester, NY.
