Wendy Pinto Obituary
Wendy Milito Pinto, 73, of Suffern, NY passed away on the morning of July 18, 2014. Wendy was born in Bronx, NY on March 24, 1941 to Dorothy and Frank Milito. She had one beloved sister, Patricia Milito Cuccio, who predeceased her in 2012. Wendy attended St. Catherine's High School in the Bronx. She married Andrew Pinto (predeceased) in 1966. Wendy, Andrew and their two daughters moved from the Bronx to Rockland County, NY in 1973. Wendy was employed in Manhattan by Air Canada at the time and later as a supervisor for Catskill OTB where she worked for over 30 years.
Wendy is survived by two loving daughters, Andrea Gillies (husband Jeff) and Claudia Pinto (husband Peter). Wendy was "Nana" to one grandchild, Audrey Gillies, whom she loved and adored. The sentiment was mutual. Wendy is also lovingly survived by an extended family of cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
The family will welcome visitors at Higgins Funeral Home, 321 South Main Street, New City, NY Sunday, 7/20 from 2-4 and 7-9pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be offered Monday, 7/21, 10am at St. Anthony's Shrine Church Nanuet, NY. Burial to follow at St. Anthony Cemetery.

Wendy was a key member of my OTB staff for 30+ years. She was a professional, competend, and loyal employee, and there was no job that was too big, or too small for Wendy to handle expertly. She is missed by
Catskill OTB to this day, and will always be remembered.
