William Colman Obituary
Valley Cottage, NY - William Stratos (Bill) Colman, 95, of Valley Cottage passed from this world on April 13, 2021. Devoted husband of Nina for 13 years, and previously of Chardella, his wife of 51 years. Beloved father of Camille (Louis) Aponte, Kim (John) Daubl, Cary (Deborah Sheperis) Colman and Elena (James Phillips) Kuemmel, plus Jesse Young, Sr., who he loved like a son. Loving grandfather of Sarah Daubl Sowers and Anne Daubl Thompson, and great grandfather of Chardella "Charly" Sowers, Sophia Sowers, Falon Thompson and Farrah Thompson.
Bill was proud of his Greek heritage, WWII Seabee service, engineering career, Orthodox faith, and most proud of his role as patriarch to his beloved family
Visitation will be 5:00-8:00pm Thursday, April 15, and funeral service 10am Friday, April 16; both at the Orthodox Christian Church of Christ the Savior, 365 Paramus Road, Paramus, NJ 07652 (201-652-6633). Internment Tappan Reformed Church Cemetery immediately following service, 32 Old Tappan Road, Tappan, NY Arrangements by Moritz Funeral Home in Tappan.
