Lee Clyde Hill
Lee Clyde Hill of Lompoc died Friday, September 10, 2010, at his home at the age of 78.
  Lee was born November 7, 1931, in Chicago, Illinois to Lee and Gertrude Hill.  He was raised and educated in Saint Louis, Missouri. He served in the United States Air Force for four years. Formerly of Seattle, Washington, he had been a resident of Lompoc since 1964.
  Lee was employed as an electronic technician for the Boeing Company on Vandenberg Air Force Base for 35 years and was selected as employee of the year in 1976. He was a reserve Captain for the Lompoc City Fire Department for 17 years, which included firefighting and later instructing firefighters.
  Lee was active in his church family and community until his death. He was a member of Saint Mary's Episcopal Church, the American Legion Post 125 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He enjoyed traveling.
Lee is survived by his wife of 47 years, Isla Mae Hill of Lompoc, his sons Lee C. Hill, III of Seattle, Washington and H. David Hill of Portland, Oregon, his daughters Linda Hill of Lompoc and Patricia Lindon of Yorkshire, England, five grandchildren, Angel Sinclair, Eric Qualls, and Krystina, Leslee, and Jerell Gray, and nine great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his daughter Anita Qualls and his sister Kay Robinson of Saint Louis, Missouri.
Father Michael Cunningham will celebrate the funeral mass on Wednesday, September 15, 2010, at 1 pm at Saint Mary's Episcopal Church. The interment will follow in the Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery.
