Randy Kendrick Obituary

Pastor Randy Dale Kendrick
Pastor Randy Dale Kendrick, 64, of Lompoc, California died Tuesday November 29, 2011 after a lengthy bout with cancer. He was born December 12, 1946 in Dallas, Texas to David Leonard and Tippie Estelle Kendrick.
Pastor Kendrick was drafted into the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War on May 25, 1966. It was during his time in the military that he felt a call from the Lord into the Ministry. He answered that call and remained active duty in the Lord's Army for the next 45 years until his death. He served in various capacities including Youth Pastor, Song Leader, Home Missions, Evangelist, and as Pastor of Gospel Lighthouse in Lompoc, California for the last 28 years.
It was also in 1966 that he met the love of his life Linda Suetta Condren whom he convinced to marry him on May 19,1967. He is survived by his wife Linda and their four children; Jason and wife Heather, Jonathan and wife Frances, Jana and husband Stephen , Jennifer and husband Jason and his nine grandchildren Bradley, Brent, Amber Nicole, Brock, Jordan, Catalyn Jewell, Luke, Ireland Grace, Chandler Blake and a great-granddaughter Camille Grace. He is also survived by five siblings; Kenny, Larry, Tommy, Beverly and Pam.
Funeral services will be held on December 2nd in Bakersfield, California at the Greater Bakersfield First Pentecostal Church 1418 W. Columbus Ave at 11:00 am under the direction of Basham Funeral Care. There will also be a special Memorial Service on Sunday at 10:00 am at Gospel Lighthouse in Lompoc, California. A Memorial Fund has been set up under the auspices of Gospel Lighthouse 200 E. Chestnut Lompoc, California 93436.
