Lorenzo Osorio-Rosa Obituary
A native of Caguas, Puerto Rico, Lorenzo was born on September 20, 1946, from parents Lydia Rosa Aponte and Lorenzo Osorio. His siblings Hector, Lydia, Roberto, Ines, Antonio Osorio, Jeanette and Lisette Pomales, Victor Pellot, Carmen Osorio Declet
A servant with a hero's heart, Lorenzo is survived by his wife, Laura Adele Osorio; their daughter, Lydia Maria Keim, husband Francis Michael Keim Jr; granddaughter Laura Lynn McManus, husband Kieran McManus; great grandchildren Agatha Therese McManus, Joseph Michael McManus, and another on the way; grandson Joseph Albert Keim, wife Lorraine Falcon Roman-Keim; great granddaughter Rosalia Marie Keim; daughter Irma Belen Osorio-Snider, husband Lee Snider, and granddaughter Nora Belen Osorio; son Ramon Joseph Osorio, wife Maria Fernanda Osorio, and granddaughter Valentina Osorio.
Lorenzo attended Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida, where he earned an advanced degree in AirFrame and Aviation Mechanics in 1966.
In 1968, Lorenzo enlisted in the Army and quickly rose through the ranks before retiring as a Master Sergeant in 1990. In addition to his two combat tours in Vietnam, His awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal, Air Medal (5), Meritorious Service Medal and The Legion of Merit.
To say this man loved his country is an understatement. He continued serving long after his military service and various assignments for the State Department.
In 2008 he retired and settled in Titusville, Florida with his wife, Laura. Lorenzo loved his friends and family like no other. And when not spending time with them he was working in his garage repairing cars, riding his motorcycle, or building large fly-by-wire airplanes.

Burial at National Cemetery. Culpepper, VA on 02/21/25 at 1pm. Celebration of Life at St. Francis de Sales. Knights of Columbus Hall. Purcellville, VA from 3:30 to 6pm. Lorenzo Osorio-Rosa
