Roy Bentley Obituary

Roy Thomas Bentley, 78, of Lovettsville, VA, died on October 7, 2024. He is survived by his wife Ann; his three children, Lisa Hanes (Donovan) of Thurmont, MD, Amanda Bentley of Lovettsville, VA, and Roy Thomas Bentley II also of Lovettsville, VA. He is also survived by his sister Nancy Myers of Purcellville, VA. He is preceded in death by his parents Ottie Lee and Mae Ola Bentley, and his two brothers, Henry and Jim. He served in Vietnam in the Air Force, and retired from the WV Air National Guard in 1999 after thirty years of faithful service. Furthermore, he loved airplanes, especially C1-30's. He loved his children and loved spending time with them. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lovettsville Fire & Rescue Co 12, P.O.
