Suzanne McCreight Obituary

Suzanne Caravati McCreight, of Leesburg, VA passed away on Thursday, April 24th, at the age of 89, after a remarkable and valiant 3-1/2 year battle with pancreatic cancer.

A native of Richmond, VA, she graduated high school from St. Gertrude before attending Georgetown Visitation, and enjoyed an administrative career with George Mason University, American Heart Association, Ernst and Young, and EP&H Insurance

Suzanne was a beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, friend, and most importantly grandmother, and often stated that she lived for her grandchildren.

When not spending time with her grandchildren, family, and friends, she enjoyed cooking and working in her garden.

Suzanne is survived by her three children, David (Kimber), Scott (Jennifer fmr), and Stephanie (Prescott Engle), 14 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren, along with her sisters, brother, and many nieces, nephews and extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Lena Caravati, her husband Dave McCreight, and by 2 brothers and 3 sisters.

A funeral service is scheduled for Friday, May 9th at 2pm
