Ms. Vaughan was a valued member of our community at the Forum, along with her husband, and I am truly grateful that I had the chance to know her and serve her. She was a kind and wonderful lady. On behalf of those of us at the Forum, I am so sorry for your loss. She will be fondly remembered by me and by all of us.

Bette was a dear friend of mine when we both were growing up in Shelbyville, along with her cousin, the late Jane Blakemore. I first met Bette at a pre-school when she was about three! I have many fond memories of all the "play houses" we put together in sheds, etc. Sadly, I lost track of her when I moved out of state as an adult. My condolences to her family.
