Bill was a gentle giant and I still miss his vibrant intellect. Louisville was much the better for his time here, and the void of his presence among us has not been filled.

Dear Warner Family, my name is Teresa Heintzman. My parents, Peggy (d. 2009) and John Heintzman (d. 2017) knew your father well. They spoke very highly of Bill and Sue. Dad worked with your Dad in Naval Intelligence Reserves. My condolences

So very sorry to hear of Bill's passing. Bill Warner was one of my all-time favorites. A brilliant lawyer with a well-reasoned and solid thought process who fully understood the importance of the law in our society. Bill's obituary speaks for itself as to the multiple and varied contributions he left for posterity.

It was, indeed, an honor to have known Bill and I will remember him fondly and proudly for the rest of my days on this Earth. If we had more Bill Warners, we'd be a lot better city, state and nation. God Speed my friend -- and save me a seat, I want to continue our multitude of conversation/s/.
