I didn't know about my brother for a long time into my life. I went to see Jerry after I found out that I had 2 bros. who lived in Kentucky. The whole family was so nice to me. It was like they'd known me all of my life. Then Jerry took me to see Charles. I couldn't believe how much he looked like my sister Martha. Eventhough I didn't know Charles that long there was an attachment I can't describe. I'm praying for your loss, but he's in a better place. Betty Sauls

After talking to you I wanted to let you and Donna know how much I thought of Charles. I remember how well he treated Grandma at the reunion we had at Cherokee park. Mom always praised him for being so kind. I thank GOD for being merciful and taking him home. I know Pat will always miss him as I still miss Wilby and he has been gone since 1986. The best part is knowing that they no longer are suffering. I know when Bobby died from cancer I was hurt from losing my oldest son but was thankful that he no longer had to suffer. With GOD on our side we will make it. Love always to Pat and their children. Also with you and Donna and the rest of the family. Love always, in GOD'S glorious name Nancy

Charlie was one of the nicest people. When I spoke with him a while back he shared his faith in God with me, now he is walking on streets of gold. He leaves behind a legacy of how a good man lives his life, with kindness and love toward others. My prayers are with his family.

I cannot express how sad his passing is to all of us. My cousin was the kindest, most caring and devoted person you could ever want to meet. I rejoice that he is with Jesus and without pain now.

My Big Brother was one of the most loving and kind men I know, a true "Gentleman" in every way! Our childhood and life memories share will live on forever in my heart and help me visit in memories and smile. We didn't have much growing up But Momma made sure we knew what family love was ... and that bit of what she taught lives in you and was the blessing of everyone who knew you ...Gentle still waters of love within you run deep! ¢¾ Love you and see you again some day!
