43, departed his earthly home on April 21, 2015.
Chris is survived by a son, Alex Christopher Roof; parents, Richard and La Verta (Morris) Roof; and siblings, Phillip (Angela), Bryan (Jessica) Roof, Dena (Jody) Brummett, and Joann Carbone.
Visitation is at Owen Funeral Home on Thursday, April 23, 2015 from 4-8 p.m. and Friday, beginning at 11 a.m. with service at 2 p.m.

Very sad for the family of Christopher. Praying for God to lay his healing on hand on the family as he send his angels to guide Christopher to heaven. This guy was very sweet and he always manage to seek me out to see how I was doing when my mom got sick. I am gonna miss his smile. Thank you Chris for being a good listener, and not afraid to give a hug or two whenever I see you at the store. Be with God my friend, no more suffering.

Chris was a wonderful friend. Always happy to see you when you came around. We shared stories about our diabetes and how we each managed it. I will miss you my friend. Say hello to my husband Tim for me. All my love is being sent to heaven for you.

I remember Chris from high school. He was a great person. Didnt see him much after but I know he will be missed dearly. He was taken way to early but God needed him more than anyone did on earth. RIP Chris.
