78 passed away June 21, 2016. Survivors include his children Octavia, Daniel Jr. and Tracy Johnson, 4 step-children Constance Johnson, Vicki Johnson Brownlow, Jeffrey Johnson and David Johnson, 3 brothers John C., Howard and Melvin Johnson, his sister Mary Bell Lumpkins and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends. Funeral 11 am Wednesday at G. C. Williams, burial Green Meadows Cemetery, visitation 10-11 am Wednesday.

I miss you already. Seeing you over Derby weekend is a memory I will keep close to my heart. You were just talking about daddy(Coochie) and sharing all the memories of us when we would visit. Rest peacefully in God's hands, you were one the most humble and generous man I ever knew. Love you
