David Moninger Obituary

David G. (Dave) Moninger

Louisville - David (Dave) G. Moninger, a native of Louisville, KY, died at his home May 9. He is survived by his wife, Linda Haas, his sister Suzanna Neal and her partner, Thomas Larson, great-nephews, Sef and Tate Zeleznik, their mother, Nancy Burns, and Linda's four siblings and their families. He was preceded in death in November by his beloved nephew, Scott Zeleznik.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 26, at St. William Catholic Church at 9 am in Louisville followed by a Celebration of Life gathering at the Peterson-Dumesnil House at 10:30. Online condolences may be left at www.ratterman.com.

Dave is a good friend during high school and college years. He was a groomsman at my wedding in 1972. I have looked for him in recent years and did not find him even with the internet. Rest in peace.
