David Yates Obituary

Yates, David "Dwight",

62, passed away June 13, 2017.

He was an employee for Frito Lay for 28 years and Louisville Bedding for 5 years. Dwight enjoyed music, playing cards and cornhole, and working in his shed.

Preceding him in death was his parents, James and Vivian Yates and his brother, Eddie Yates.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 36 years, Brenda (Shuck) Yates; his children, Sherri and Aaron Yates (Angela); grandchildren, Kayla Kappel, Kimberly Moore, and Anderson Yates; sister, Jamesetta Boyd; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.

Visitation will be from 2 - 8 p.m. Thursday.

Memorial gifts may be made to Hosparus
