To the family of Dee,

First let me express my deepest sympathy. Let me assure you that it is written in the "Word" that to be absence from the body is to be present with the Lord; therefore, Dee accepted Christ, therefore, she is with the Lord.

Rest assured that God holds her and keeps her. And to everything give glory to God.

May God forever keep you as you mourn the untimely death of your love one. Dee will truly be missed by all of those that may have had an encounter with her; rather a brief encounter or long encounter. I will always remember her for the love that she showed to all mankind and her relentless devotion to the families and children that she served. I am reminde that it is not how long you live, but how well you live...and that if you made a difference in someone's life than your living was not in vain. Dee truly touched many lives and made a difference in their lives.

I will forever keep each of you in my prayers.

Yours in Christ;

Gloria Leaa-Jones (colleague and friend).

Dear Bill,

Dee was a very dear, sweet person and a dedicated worker to our kids. John and I worked very closely with her at school. She was also a special, personal friend. We loved her dearly but who didn't? She will be sorely missed as it will be hard to face the coming year without her. God bless you for your loss and his gain in the kingdom of heaven.

To the family of Dee, I worked with Dee at Waller-Williams. I enjoyed her humor, her beautiful eyes that lit up when she smiled as she talked about "our kidos." We had five years of friendship in which she was always willing to share her knowledge and go the extra mile. She will be missed by the many hearts she touched. As her family and friends let us all continue what she started...to love and care for those who are often so hard to love.

Dee was my son's counselor. Although we only worked with her for a short while, we grew very found of her & became very close. She loved all of her "kiddos", as she'd call them. I'll always remember her contagious laugh, her wonderful & bright smile, & the love that surronded her. She will be missed greatly...
