When I was in elementary school, some boy named Don Sharp moved into our neighborhood. I went down to have a look. I was in awe of this handsome, shy boy who was a TEENAGER. No matter how many times I rang his doorbell, he always found very polite ways of telling that pesky little kid to get lost. Thanks to Don for not hurting a little girl's feelings during her first crush.

I am so sorry to hear of Donnie's passing. My condolences to his wife, mother, sisters, children and extended family. Long ago, we lived in the same neighborhood and I remember him well. He was a free spirited young boy whose spirit is now truly free. Remember that life is not measured by the number of breaths we take but by the moments that take our breath away. Memories of shared good times will help you through the dark times.

Donnie - You were my first love! I was not a part of your biker life, but I was part of your teenage years. You were my heart and my soul from the time I was 13 to 18. We tried to make it after you were in the Marines, but being apart just didn't work out. You were the most handsome, kind, loving, good hearted, fun guy and you were so good to me. I remember you would walk to my house in the mornings just so you could carry my books to school. We did our homework together and we were always together. We were so preppy and square back then, but it sure was a happy time for us. Being a teenage girl, your Mom and I did not get along. I saw her tonight and things are so different today. She loves you with all her heart and she is hurting so badly. My heart hurts because we have lost you. You are the greatest guy I have ever known and I love you dearly. Rest in peace my love!

I have some excellent memories of Donnie. He was a great man and new how to have a good time. I will always remember all the great times spent with him & Sue! It was a long time ago that I hung with you guys, but I will never forget them. My heart goes out to you Sue and my prayers are with all of his family and friends at this very hard time.

We will never forget all the fun times we had together. The camping trips, the good times at the house off of Lyndon Lane. And of course, standing up for us when we got married. Hard to believe it was that long ago. You will be missed.

May you fly away from all the pain of this life in the arms of the angels.
