Doris J. Basham

BASHAM, DORIS J., 71, of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2005, at Hospice & Palliative Care of Louisville's inpatient unit at Norton Healthcare Pavilion. She was the former Doris Yocum and a native of Louisville. She was a member of Beechmont Baptist Church and a former employee of Kroger, where she worked in food services. She was predeceased by her husband, William A. Basham She is survived by her sons, Roger Dale Basham and Anthony Wayne Basham; daughter, Deborah Lynn "Debbie"Bott (Channing); sisters, Lillian Caulk, Mary Agan (Norman) and Alma Nicholson (Brad- ley); and her sister and brother in Christ, Charlene and Donn McCubbin. Her funeral service will be held at noon Saturday, May 7, 2005, at Evergreen Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon-8 p.m. Friday, May 6, 2005, at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care of Louisville.
