Knew Doug from Doss High School & Beechmont Youth Sport where he played baseball with my brother. After his baseball career, got to know him better through umpiring as we umpired at Derby City and some college baseball together.
Great guy! So easy to be friends with. Will be missed. Thank you for all the great memories. Rest in peace.

Cindy, Ron, and Tina I don't know really what to say except I loved the trips we made, and can't think of a nicer, or more awesome person than he was...he made everyone feel so special like you were his best friend and he was always the life of the party.

Rest easy Gator you are going to be missed dearly. You have left everyone who knows you with wonderful memories to cherish. Your smile could light up any room you walk into. I'm going to miss hearing your hoodie whoo from volleyball every time you went to hit the ball. You were an amazing friend, father, husband, grandfather and this world won't be the same without you. Til we all meet again.
