Edward Greenwell Obituary

GREENWELL, EDWARD JOSEPH, 92, of Shepherdsville, died Friday, June 15, 2007 at Hospice and Palliative Care of Louisville. He was a native of Nelson Co., KY and a color matcher for the Celanese Coating Co. in Louisville. He was a member of the St. Aloysius Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus, Shepherdsville. He is preceded in death by his wife, the former Anna Loretta Milliner and two grandsons, Gary and Russell Greenwell. He is survived by two daughters, Barbara Hebner and Judy Etherton (Tom), both of Shepherdsville; three sons, Charles Greenwell (Patsy), of Lebanon Junction, Gerald Greenwell (Brenda), of Shepherdsville, and Ricky Greenwell (Linda), of Louisville; one sister, Ada Rice, of Lebanon, KY; one brother, Fabian Greenwell, of Baytown, TX; 19 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great- grandchildren. A funeral Mass of resurrection will be celebrated noon Monday at Saint Aloysius Catholic Church, Shepherdsville, Rev. Nick Rice officiating. Burial will be held in Calvary Cemetery, Louisville. Visitation is noon - 8 p.m. Sunday, and after 10 a.m. Monday at Schoppenhorst Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home, Preston and John Harper Hwy., Shepherdsville. Kappel Funeral Home entrusted with arrangements.
