Ernest Weber Obituary

WEBER, ERNEST DEE "ERNIE" SR., 80, of Louisville passed away peacefully Tuesday, May 9, 2006. He was owner of the old Weber's Wholesale Meat Company and retired from his distributorship for Wonder Snack Foods. He loved his family and was proud of all them. He treasured his friendship with his lifetime buddy, Bill Davis. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Pauline Weber and sister Mildred Freeman. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Brutsher Weber; and his children, daughter, Connie Ackermann (Joe) and son, Ernest Jr. (Sherry) and step-children, Susan Kaler and John Kaler; his grandchildren, Jeffrey Ackermann (Leigh Ann), Gregory Ackermann, Karen Acker mann-Kelly (Michael) and Christina Weber-Steen (Andrew); and stepgrandchildren, Katie and Richard Kaler of Indianapolis; his five great-grandchildren, Griffin, Makenzie and Erica Ackermann and Samuel and Michael Kelly. He donated his body to the University of Louisville Medical School. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday May 22, 2006 at St. Leonard Church on Zorn Avenue. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care of Louisville or to the University of Louisville Department of Anatomical Sciences and Neurobiology.
