George O'Bannon Obituary
85, died Saturday, June 20, 2015.
He was a retired communications inspector for the United States Government, a former employee of Bell South, and a member of St. Peter Apostle Catholic Church, Bullitt County Masonic Lodge #155, Scottish Rite and Kosair Shrine Temple.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Pasty O'Bannon.
He is survived by his sons, Ron (Sandra) and Terry (Beverly) O'Bannon; grandchildren, Ashley Latinovic (Darko) and Allison and Aaron O'Bannon (Meredith, fiancée); seven great-grandchildren; and sister, Dorothy Nuss.
His funeral is 2 p.m. Tuesday at Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation is 1-8 p.m. Monday and will include a masonic service at 6:30 p.m.

I AM SO SORRY TO HEAR OF GEORGE'S PASSING. HE WAS MY SUPERVISOR AT FORT KNOX FOR SEVERAL YEARS AND I HAVE GREAT MEMORIES OF WORKING WITH HIM AND HIS OTHER EMPLOYEES. MAY GOD BLESS AND BRING COMFORT TO YOUR FAMILY.
