James Burch Obituary
82, went home to his Lord, Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at Audubon Hospital.
He was born in Chenault, KY to William and Nannie Lee (Gardner) Burch.
Jim was in confectionary sales with Johnson-Smith Brokerage Co., with 35 years service. He was a longtime member of Larchmont Church of God, a U.S. Army Korean War veteran, a member of Gideon International and AACA, Kyana region.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his loving wife of 64 years, Joyce E. (Duvall) Burch; his children: Greg Burch (Cris), Gayle Hooker (Robert) and Ryan Burch (Jan); 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; a brother: William Burch (Linda) and a sister, Lois Derrow.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with entombment In Evergreen Cemetery Mausoleum
Visitation will be 2-8 p.m.Friday.
Expressions of sympathy: Gideon's International and Larchmont Church of God.

My favorite Sunday School teacher. Throughout my life, I would think of Jim many times with great fondness and respect. Along with his saintly mother, Jim is enjoying some peanuts, and of course, a Coke instead of coffee.
