James Deckard Obituary

JAMES "Jim" C. DECKARD

Louisville - DECKARD, James "Jim" C., 73, passed away Thursday, April 12, 2018.

Jim was retired from Bellsouth and was an Air Force veteran. He had also volunteered with the Jeffersontown Fire Department and the Okolona Fire Department.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Nola Jean Deckard.

Jim is survived by his daughters, Tina Deckard and Tonya Engle (Ray); grandchildren, Kayla and Mackenzie Engle; sister, Darlene Loyal; and nieces, Amy Scalf (David) and Mary Ellen Scott (Steven); and several loving cousins.

Visitation will be Monday 2-7pm at Owen Funeral Home - Jeffersontown, 9318 Taylorsville Road with service to follow at 7pm.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Lung Association or the Palliative Care Unit at Baptist Health.
