James Reynolds Obituary
92, passed away Monday, November 28, 2016.
He was retired from the old Stratton & Terstegge Hardware Co., a member of Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church, and a former volunteer at the Franciscan Shelter House.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Rita J. Reynolds; a son, William Reynolds; and brothers, J.D. and Joe "Buddy" Reynolds.
He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Dorothy M. Wheatley Reynolds; children, Teresa Nash (Dennis), Julie Murphy, Cecilia Cassady (Dennis), James A. Reynolds (Diane) and Paul D. Reynolds. Also survived by a sister, Mary Ann Capps; grandchildren, Craig Reynolds (Chrissy), Cory Murphy (Andrea), Justin Murphy, Michael Nash, Sarah Mizell (Ben), Timothy Reynolds, Brian Cassady, Bradley Cassady, and Michael Elliott (Tristen); and great grandchildren,. Callen and Alivia Murphy, Ruby and Max Mizell, and Dylan and Alice Elliott.
His funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a. m. Friday at Our Mother of Sorrows Church, 760 Eastern Parkway with burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 - 8 p. m. Thursday at Embry-Bosse Funeral Home, 2723 Preston Highway.
Memorial gifts may be made to Franciscan Shelter House or Hosparus.

Aunt Dorothy and family, we will certainly miss Uncle Jimmy! He was so much fun to be around. I could always count on seeing him at the track. We will keep you and everyone in our thoughts and prayers.
