Janet Clephas Obituary
She was a loving wife, mother, daughter and sister whom will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her husband, Gerald "Jerry" Clephas, of Vine Grove; two daughters, Amie Carney (Dustin) and Erin Clephas; her parents, Gene and Carleen Lawrence; a brother, Peter Lawrence; a sister, Peggy Sue Wayland (Randy); and a nephew, Kevin Wayland, all of Louisville.
The funeral service and visitation will be private. Nelson- Edelen- Bennett in charge of arrangements.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to The Southwest Center for the Developmentally Disabled, 8009 Terry Road, Louisville, KY 40258. Condolences may be expressed online at www.nebfh.com

Dear Jerry , Amie, Erin, Carleen, Gene,Peter and Peggy Sue, We are heartbroken for your tragic loss of Janet...It is hard to understand...I will always remember the short time we had to get to know each other and all the excitement we shared going through the wedding...I have never seen anyone so happy and excited about their childs love for each other. We have such fond memories of the times we've spent with you guys - far too many to list here. Janet was such a fun-loving person; she just brightened up the room when she was around! We are grateful for having known her, and will miss her terribly. We pray God's grace & mercy as you begin to deal with this great loss. We love you guys!
