Joe McCaslin Obituary

McCASLIN, JOE, 80, of Louisville, passed away at his home Saturday November 3, 2007, surrounded by family. A native of Hickman County, TN, he was preceded in death by his parents, E.A. and Minnie McCaslin; and brothers, Paul, James and Donald McCaslin. He was retired from the Federal Chemical Company, where he worked for 30 years. He was a member of Watkins United Methodist Church and Aurora Lodge 633, F. & A.M. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Clara Ann (DeMoss) McCaslin; his son, Perry McCaslin; his daughter, Wilma Jo Couch (Dr. Robert); and granddaughters, Mary Claire and Julia Couch, all of Louisville. Funeral services will be held at Watkins United Methodist Church, 9800 Westport Road, on Wednesday, at 10:30 a.m. with burial at Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Pearson-Ratterman Funeral Home, 12900 Shelbyville Road, Middletown, from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday and from 9:30 a.m. until the service at church. Memorial donations may be made to Watkins United Methodist Church or Hospice and Palliative Care of Louisville.
