John Adkins Obituary

ADKINS, JOHN S., 54, of Louisville, entered into rest on Saturday, August 11, 2007. He was retired from LG&E and also served in the Marine Corps and US Navy. He was preceded in death by a brother, Eddie Adkins. He is survived by his sons, Gabriel and Tyler Adkins; his mother and caregiver, Ollie Ward; sisters, Teresa Rennirt, Cathy Fisher and Jamie Ward; and two brothers, Mike Adkins and Tom Ward. His funeral service will be noon on Thursday at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Highway with cremation to follow. Visitation will be from 1-8 p.m. on Wednesday and after 9:00 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
