John Hruska Obituary

HRUSKA, JOHN DAVID, 71, passed away March 24, 2013.

John was born in Youngstown, OH and graduated from Youngstown State University. He moved to Louisville with his family in 1980 but remained an avid Ohio State fan. He was retired from the printing industry with over 40 years of success. He enjoyed traveling with his wife, time at the beach, and golf. John was a loving husband, a proud father and "Papa", and a friend to all. A member of Concordia Lutheran Church, he loved and lived life to the fullest.

John was preceded in death by his parents, Steve and Ann Hruska.

John is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Darlin; his four children, David (Amber), Holly Isaacs (Patrick), Michael and Christy; two grandchildren, Conall and Charlotte; his sister, Barbara Mesarich (Steve), twin brother, Paul (Sue); 11 nieces and nephews; eight great-nieces and nephews; four godchildren, his Plainview family and a host of family and dear friends.

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday, March 28, 2013 at Concordia Lutheran Church, 1127 E Broadway, Louisville, with burial at Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from noon-8 .p.m. at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Heart Association or his church.
