My pleasant memories of Uncle Joe in are very vivid. When I would take a bus downtown on Saturday´s, I would always stop by the store to visit Uncle Joe, Uncle Pete ( Joe´s brother and business partner), and Aunt Sarah. Uncle Joe loved to come visit my family, which included our Super Dog "Daisy", who was a mix of Great Dane and Boxer. Daisy always greeted Uncle Joe by jumping on the roof of his car as he slowly approached our home. He called her "hamburger" since Uncle Joe said she could turn any stranger into shreds. When Uncle Joe moved to Four Courts home, I would bring my best friend, Lucy a small Golden Retriever, to express her love for him. I find it heartwarming to remember all the memories of Uncle Joe.
