Joshua McFarland Obituary
He is survived by his grandmother, Pat Cox; fiancée, Tiffany Knowlend; father, Toppy McFarland; and four children.
Memorial service is 4 p.m. Saturday at Owen Funeral Home- Jeffersontown, 9318 Taylorsville Road. Cremation was chosen. Visitation is 1-4 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Donations may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

I want you who come here,and his friends, to know my sons loving heart was kind enough to leave his organs to any who could use them. Joshua's corneas gave a young girl sight and I will follow his lead. My son loved everyone no matter race,Religion, political standing. He was the perfect picture of love I have never been able to be.
I MISS my children every second of every day. I have never loved that much in all my life and now I live and die a lonily old man. I am GOD Blessed to have the ultimate Love of God,Christ,Heaven,flow thru my everyday,and endure the Greatest hurt a parent could ever experience.

I have known Josh since I was 15 yrs old,and he was always a great friend. i hadn't seen him for a few years..seems life just took us in different directions. But I will never forget sneaking out in the snow to see him when we briefly dated and how our friendship was even closer after we decided not to anymore. Josh had a beautiful smile and kind spirit. My prayers are with his family. Josh, I love you and will always think of you.

I cannot believe that Josh is really gone......He was one in a million!!!!!!! I have known Josh since we went to Westport together. He was a great person and will remain in our hearts forever! His family is in my thoughts and prayers. I am truely sorry to hear of his tragic death. This world will never be the same without Josh here. I know that he will be looking over us now, and that he is not alone. He is up there with his mother and his brother Thomas. Josh is greatly loved and will be missed forever!!!!!!!

I met Josh when I was 13 standing at the school bus for middle school and BOY were we a team. Then we lost his brother together. 10 yrs we were together every day geting into trouble,being kids. I heard his mom passed and I felt bad I wasn't there,I had lost touch with him. I tried to find him awhile back,but never did. Now, I find he is gone. JOSH,I WILL SEE U UP THERE MAN! LOVE YOU FOR EVER

i've known josh since elementary school out in jtown! i cant believe he is gone! we havent spoke to each other in quite a long time but he was a great person when i knew him. he will be greatly missed my thoughts and prayers go out to his family! now he can finally be reunited with thomas and his mom.

I am in shock!
I went to school with Josh and hung out with him in the neighborhood. He was such an intergetic person. He always made everyone laugh. But when it was time to be serious he was. I will never forget him. My prayers are with you always. Now your home and can be with your Mom and Thomas. We all love you.
