It's been over a year and I still shed tears for you. My heart still has a hollow piece that can never be filled. Three young lives were taken in the last two weeks. I'm praying that you welcomed them with open arms. My heart hurts so much. I so wish that I could just wake up from this nightmare and see your perfect smile. You are so missed by so many.

We're doing a cruise in your memory this weekend. You'd be so proud to see all of your friends down here, they are keeping your memory alive.

I love you big bro, and I have so much more to say, but there are no words to express this pain, this loss, this emptiness. Don't stop picking on me, your little tricks and jokes are the reasons I smile on the days that look so bleak.

I love you so much, if only I would have told you every single chance I had. Until we meet again, I'll hold down the fort down here.

Love Always-- Your annoying little sister :)

Kevin, You and I have been friends since elementary school, you had the biggest heart of anyone I have ever met. I sit back and laugh about nights downtown, days at the old drag strip and riding in your mom's t-bird, me backing into a pole downtown and us hanging out when we both lived in Nashville. You where a great friend to me and many others and will be greatly missed by many others. We will see you again soon buddy!

Revelation 7:15-17
And he said, "These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Therefore, "they are before the throne of God and serve him day and night in his temple; and he who sits on the throne will spread his tent over them. Never again will they hunger; never again will they thirst. The sun will not beat upon them, nor any scorching heat. For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; he will lead them to springs of living water. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes."

I am so sorry for your loss. The loss of a child is especially devastating. It's hard to understand the reason something like this happens especially to such good people. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers and hope that you will find comfort in each others arms.

My deepest sympathies go out to Kevin's family, friends, and all the lives he touched in his 26 years of life. I'm thankful to have had the privilege of meeting him and hanging out with him when he would come to Chicago. He always had a smile on his face and a hug for everyone. Even though I didn't get to hang out with him as much as many people have, I can say he had a great impact on my life.

I always enjoyed listening to him talk shop with my brother and Dad when he would visit. I never really understood half of what they were talking about but I was always amazed by how easy it was for him to just open up and talk about anything and be comfortable wherever he was. He made it look so easy. And it was always easy for me to talk to him. He sure is one-of-a-kind and one of the best kind of people. I've honestly never met a man as kind, thoughtful, laid back, honest, and trustworthy as him. My heart is absolutely broken. Just know that you made one heck of an amazing man and he touched many peoples lives.

You are in our thoughts and prayers, The Izatt Family.
