Kurt Hoffmann Obituary
age 85, passed away April 29, 2016.
Kurt was born in Faurndau/Goeppingen, Germany in 1930.
He was a retired U.S. Army veteran with over 22 years service to his country, having served in Korea, Vietnam, Germany, and the United States. Kurt was a life member of the Disabled American Veterans, a 32d Degree Scottish Rite Mason, a Kentucky Colonel, an active member of the Louisville German American Club, and retired cabinet maker.
He was preceeded in death by his first wife Lydia, a grandson Daniel K. Haszard, and a brother Hans Hoffmann. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years Ingrid Hoffmann, a daughter Joanne L. Haszard (Mac) of Oviedo FL, a son Michael K. Hoffmann (Claudia) of Silver Springs MD, sisters Ruth LaBella, Ingeborg LaBella, Annemarie Valensisi, brothers Peter and Klaus Hoffmann, and four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Cremation was chosen with private internment at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central at Fort Knox KY. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that expressions of sympathy may be made to Hospice or the Humane Society.

Our condolences and prayers go out to Kurt's lovely wife Ingrid and the rest of the Hoffman family. Kurt will be sorely missed for he served his family, America, and Germany well during his time here on earth but like the soldier he was he has gone on to join our heavenly father's army to continue his journey. May God have mercy and bless his soul.
