Larry Orme Obituary
He was the founder and president of Carousel Foods, Inc., was the cofounder of Old Capitol Cleaners, the Old Capitol Inn Best Western Hotel, Restaurant and Lounge and Frisch's Big Boy, all in Corydon. He was a member of the Hurstbourne Baptist Church in Louisville.
Survivors include his wife, Olivia Ruth Miller Orme; his son, Michael Anthony Orme (Diane); his daughter, Cheryl Elaine Orme Reas (Dennis); his grandchildren, Jeremy, Joshua (Beth) and Isaac (Brittany) Orme and Blake (Amy) and Kyle Reas; his great-grandchildren, Alexis and Bailey Orme and Abram Reas; his brothers, Melvin, Donald, Dennis, Gary and Randy and his sisters, Bonnie and Patty.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the New Life Christian Church in Lanesville, IN. Entombment will be in the Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany, IN. Visitation will be from noon 8 p.m. Friday at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon, and after 11 a.m. Saturday at the church.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to the Jefferson Street Baptist Center, 733 E. Jefferson St., Louisville, KY 40202.

Dear Olivia, I was saddened to hear of Larry's death. Mother told me about it and it took me by surprise for Larry always looked healthy and seemed never to age. You two had such a good marriage and I can imagine how lonely you will be. Take good care and I send my deepest sympathy and love.

I am so sorry about the loss of Larry from your lives. He was a treasure. He is in another room now and he is rejoicing with our Lord. I can tell you that I take comfort in knowing that is where Bill is and now he and Larry are rekindling their childhood friendship. Know that my heart is with you on this journey.

Dear Olivia,
We are so sorry for the passing of your dear sweet Larry. We just cannot believe it. He was such a kind and wonderful man who loved the Lord. I will never ever forget his sweet smiling face and his wonderful sense of humor. Even though he is now with our dear Lord and Savior he will still be in our hearts. We will truly miss him. We are praying for you and your family for comfort and strength. We love you Olivia.
