Laura Leong Obituary
Louisville - Laura Woo "Lolly" Leong, 87, passed on January 29, 2021 to her Heavenly Father.
She is survived by sons, G Steven (Adrienne) their daughter Natacha Lesburgueres; Kevan Stuart; granddaughter Lauren Leong; nephew/son Charlie Sang and her great niece Taylor Sang. She had many relatives out of town.
Her family had their farewells with Lolly privately and there will be no public visitations.
Memorial gifts may be made to the Home of the Innocents, St, Jude Children's Research Hospital or the donor's choice.

We would like to offer our condolences to Steve and Stewart and Charlie and all the family. You all hold a special place in our heart. George & Lolly were special people and we will never forget them. The first time I met them at Bowman Field and I was 17 years old I am 69 now and We kept in touch with them all the time. We spoke to Lolly for Christmas 2020 and we reminisce about all the time that we ate at a restaurant and how long we have been friends and We cherish those moments. We think about them every day. Hoe Kow was the best restaurant we ever ate in to this day. Thank you Stephen Stewart and Charlie for all the good memories. God bless you all.

My family was blessed to live across the street from the Leong family. George and Lolly hired us neighborhood kids to work at Hoe Kow Restaurant. They taught us about hard work and customer service, and it propelled me into my job working in finance. My future boss hired me because I worked at Hoe Kow; she knew the work ethic of the people there. When I was in 2nd grade, Lolly asked me if I wanted my ears pierced. I said yes and off we went. I learned later that she never asked my parents for permission. I loved everything about her and will miss her so. We offer our condolences to Steven, Stuart, and Charlie, and their families. Memory eternal!
