Lawrence Callahan Obituary

Lawrence A. Callahan, of Washington, DC, died Sunday, January 11, 2004. He was a native of Louisville and graduated from St. Xavier High School in 1925, returning annually for the reunion. He was the beloved husband of the late Sarah B. Callahan. He was the devoted father of Suzanne (Sister Lawrence Marie), Larry and his wife, Gail, Connie (Sister Mary Kevin), Sally and her late husband, Harold L. Sullivan, and Kevin and his wife, Colleen. He was the brother of Thomas V. Callahan of Louisville, brother-in-law of Margaret Dawson of Dayton, OH, grandfather of nine and great-grandfather of eleven. He is also survived by many relatives and friends in the Louisville area. Funeral arrangements are being handled in Washington, DC. Memorial contributions may go to St. Catharine College (KY) or St. Xavier High School.
