I don't think in my life I will ever meet another person who will influence my life as much as Linda Youngman has. The community of Owensboro has lost a treasure and I have lost a friend who I will miss the rest of my life. Betsy and Family I am so sorry for your loss. Your mother meant the world to me and apparently to many others as well. I will treasure the time I got to spend with Linda and her family when I lived Owensboro. Such a wonderful mother and person I will miss her terribly.

We are so very sorry about the loss of your wonderful Mother! She ment so much to so many. Was one of the most wonderful women Carolyn and myself have ever known. She was allway there for anyone who needed her and was allways willing to help anybody in anyway she could! We did not make it to funeral home beacuse we knew there would be hundreds there and Carolyn can not stand to long at a time. But we will forever miss her wonderful ways and her sweet smile. Linda was one of a kind for sure & will never be another like Linda! Just want the family and friends to know we loved her so very much! She will forever live in our hearts and minds. But someday we shall meet again where there will be No more pain-No more suffering-All will be so wonderful when we meet again on gods golden shore! RIP Linda untill we meet again! Lynda was an amazing example of a life well lived and it truly inspires me. She inspired everyone in the greatest way. I remember being at OHS one night setting up to DJ for a dance. Lynda gave me a tour of the school, and I felt like a celebrity was giving me the tour. There were multitudes of students passing Lynda and I yelling out in love, throwing "high fives", and hugging her as we moved through the halls. It was just awesome! I was so inspired by this, and I remember thinking at that early age, this is what makes up the definition of "massive success". She was so important in our lives, and especially my Mothers life as a student into adulthood. That importance and love she gave was so expanded and dedicated to so many others as well. The love, support, and inspiration she gave so freely and selflessly is a legacy like no other.

Thoughts and prayers with Ms. Youngman's family. Being my gym teacher in high school, I learned how strong her heart was. She was one of few to come out and watch golf matches, and always had a smile on her face and had that contagious effect on others. She will be greatly missed.

So sorry for the loss of Ms. Youngman. She was such a wonderful woman. I remember the long talks and encouragement she would give me as I worked at the ice rink through college. I was sad to read of Ms. Youngman's passing. She was my gym teacher at Estes Elementary in the early 80's. Her energy made you gravitate toward her - she always made us feel special. My heart hurts for her family, but please know that even though I haven't seen her in 33+ years, I still remember her as if it were yesterday, and I only saw her as a young child for maybe :30 minutes a day. What does that tell you? <3 Peace and love. <3
